The Challenge

Salespeople at Distrimaros and Sidimel took orders via WhatsApp — voice notes, photos of handwritten lists, text messages with incomplete reference codes. Then, someone transcribed them into Excel and passed them to the dispatch department. The process had three points of failure: manual transcription, ambiguous reference codes, and zero real-time visibility into inventory.

The result was predictable: frequent order errors, returns that cost more in logistics than the order itself, customers left in the dark about their delivery status, and salespeople spending half their day on paperwork instead of selling.

Our Solution

We built an order management platform integrated with an AI agent for WhatsApp:

  • Interactive digital catalog: customers browse the updated inventory with prices, photos, and available stock in real time from any device.
  • AI agent on WhatsApp: customers who prefer WhatsApp write their order to the agent, which interprets it, confirms references with the catalog, and generates the order automatically without human intervention.
  • Dispatch dashboard: the logistics department views all daily orders organized by zone, status, and priority on a single screen. No Excel, no phone calls.
  • Full traceability: each order has a unique ID tracking history from order placement to confirmed delivery. Customers receive automatic notifications at every stage.
  • Synchronized inventory: when an order is confirmed, stock is deducted in real time. Salespeople know before committing whether the product is available.
